Danielle Roth

Director/Production Coordinator/Voice Teacher

Dani brings with her over 20 years of musical theatre training and performing experience having studied voice with Diana Roth, Laura Menard, and Amelia DeMayo, received training in the Uta Hagen and Stanislavsky methodologies of acting from John Jamiel and David McDonald, interned for Neil Berg (composer of Grumpy Old Men the Musical) and his touring production of 100 Years of Broadway, attended precollege programs at both Manhattan School of Music and NYU Cap-21, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2009 with a BA in Theatre Performance and Speech from Wagner College.

She has over 15 years of experience directing, choreographing, teaching, and administrating educational theatre. Dani has staged over 40 different musical productions with cast members ranging from ages 5-22 and taught over 100 private voice students. She has worked closed with Executive Staff of multiple organizations to create and implement programming, classes and productions that set the bar higher for both staff and students all while putting the child's learning experience at the center of the decision-making. She believes strongly in the power of music and art, and has seen firsthand how it can truly change lives. Dani brings her positive attitude, love of the craft, and desire to inspire excellence to her work and hopes that she will empower young people to find their own unique voices and truths through theatre!


Erin Schwab

Marketing Manager/Voice Teacher

Erin Schwab is an arts administrator, teacher and classically trained vocalist who is dedicated to engaging in and promoting the arts as her life’s mission. Her foray into arts administration began in 2017, when she started internships with Carl Fischer Music Publishing and the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, NJ. In addition to her roles at Curtain Up Studios, she is an arts administration assistant at The Art School at Old Church in Demarest, NJ, and social media coordinator for Sound Imagination, a multimedia production studio based in Springfield, NJ.

As a performer and a teacher, Erin is well versed in all singing styles - Opera, Choral, Pop, Jazz, Musical Theatre and everything in between! She holds a Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Vocal Performance from Rutgers - Mason Gross School of the Arts, where she received the Olga Marsano Burian Award for “Outstanding Achievement in Music” and the Michael Fardink Memorial Award for “Outstanding Vocalist”. Further studies include artist residencies at the Castleton Artists' Training Seminar (2012-2014), the Chautauqua Institution Voice Program (2015) and the Crested Butte Music Festival (2018). She served as the Assistant Choral Director at Lakeland Regional High School in Wanaque, NJ from 2015-2019, and has been the primary soloist and section leader at the Community Presbyterian Church in Ringwood, NJ, since 2010. As an accomplished opera singer, concert soloist and choral singer, Erin has performed in the U.S. and abroad at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and The Royal Opera House Muscat in Oman. Assistant Director/Stage Manager

Katie offers 10 years of performance and training in musical theatre, having grown up in a family that supports and encourages the performing arts. She has been a member of the Curtain Up Studios team since 2010 as an Assistant Director and Stage Manager, and has also worked with Aspire Performing Arts Company as such. With such a love of the arts, she has always been drawn to musical theatre and the idea of encouraging children to express themselves, enjoy the experience, and for them to find the opportunity to play a part and be a part of a production. Katie has been a part of numerous mainstage productions including Into the Woods JR, Elf the Musical, The Addams Family (the musical), and Once of This Island JR. as a Stage Manager and Assistant Director. In addition, Katie has also worked on summer intensive workshops which include Dear Evan Hansen, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, and Wicked. In addition to her work in the arts, Katie is a full time associate at Summit Oaks Hospital, pursuing a career in mental health, having graduated from Montclair State University with her BA in Psychology and a Minor in Child Advocacy. Katie is proud to be a member of this company and all that it stands for. She looks forward to the continuation of her time with Curtain Up Studios and the many opportunities that it provides for all participants!


Grace Julianna Manzo

Production Assistant

Grace Julianna has been a professional actress since she was 8 years old. After watching her first episode of LIzzie McGuire, she knew she wanted to be on TV! Her mom was an actress, so it was only a matter of time before Grace pursued her goals. Since she was a little girl she has booked roles in NY and LA, currently she is a senior at Montclair State University. As production assistant, Grace hopes to grow her knowledge and experience on casting and directing.

Dylaney Sabino is a high school senior and long time theatre enthusiast. She has acted in, written for and worked backstage at many plays, musicals and performances since she got involved in theatre at 11 years old. She became involved with Curtain Up Studios working for them for four weeks in the summer of 2019.


Heather Cozine

Production Assistant

A true lover of Music and Theatre Heather enjoys working with children of all ages on and off the stage. She also enjoys performing in various community and regional theaters in the NJ/NY area. Heather’s passion is always to bring the fun to whatever she does while focusing on teaching important skills that will enhance any individual’s love for musicals and the stage. Heather holds a MA degree in training and education from Montclair University.
