Spring 2026 Production
Program Overview
Ages 10-17.
Full Main Stage production with 2-4 performances.
While registration and enrollment are open to all, performers are required to audition and are given a role based on their skill level. Due to the intensity of the rehearsal period as well as the heightened responsibilities of each actor, we recommend that students have had some prior performance experience. Feel free to reach out to us if you are unsure whether or not your child/teen is ready for this program by emailing info@curtainupstudios.com.
Synopsis
THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Auditions & Callbacks
Auditions: Tuesday March 17 @ 6:00pm - 8:00pm (15 min time slots)
Make-up Auditions: Tuesday, March 24th @ 6pm - 6:30pm (for those unable to attend auditions on March 17th)
Callbacks: Tuesday, March 24th @ 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Auditions will be scheduled in 15 minute time-slots. Participants will be asked to prepare and perform the audition materials for the casting team. After all participants have auditioned, a callback list will be emailed out. Not all participants will receive callback material, but all participants will be asked to attend from 6:30pm - 8pm for Callbacks and materials get sent out 1 WEEK before the program begins. Audition time-slot information as well as audition and callback materials will be available about two weeks before the program begins.
