Conservatory

full-scale musicals for Ages 12-17!

Rehearses 1-2x a Week

Ages 12-17

Multi-Week Program

The focus of the Conservatory Program is to take our students to the next level as young artists.  The program will consist of challenging music and choreography, in-depth character study, and teen-suitable titles that are relevant and exciting to them. By raising the bar, we hope to not only elevate the production level of the shows themselves, but also to elevate the experience of our teens by challenging, engaging and inspiring them. The program culminates in a full-scale production with lights, sound, costumes, and 2-4 performances in a theater. Our goal for the program is to ensure that each student has honed their theatrical skills, taken risks, and stepped outside of their comfort zone.  In doing so, we’re confident they will create not only a fantastic show, but more importantly, a safe and supportive environment for one another.

Conservatory Rehearsal & Performance Overview

Audition/Callback Information: Auditions will be held in 15 minute time-slots. Participants will be asked to prepare and perform the audition materials for the casting team.  After all participants have auditioned, a callback list will be emailed out.  Not all participants will receive a callback, but all participants will receive a role. Participants who receive a callback will prepare role-specific callback materials and taught a short dance combination.  Audition time-slot information as well as audition and callback materials will be available at least 2 weeks prior to auditions.

Rehearsals/Performances: Rehearsals will take place 1 to 2x a week and will culminate in 2-4 performances. Attendance, unless previously excused at the time of auditions, is required. Not all performers will be called to all rehearsals. The complete schedule (including performances) is available on our website.
