This winter, watch your performer step into the spotlight with Curtain Up Studios!
Our musical theatre workshops are a fun, welcoming way for young performers, especially beginners, to experience the excitement of singing, dancing, and acting on stage.
Over 8 weeks, students will bring songs and scenes from beloved Broadway musicals to life as they learn their roles, memorize lines, practice choreography, and build confidence along the way.
The experience wraps up with a casual performance for family and friends, giving every child their moment to shine!

Synopsis
Elf The Musical Jr. is modern day classic. Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Rehearsals: Jan. 14 - Mar. 4
Final Dress & Performance: Thursday, Mar 4th @ 5:30pm - 7:30pm (Doors open for audience @ 6:30 pm; Performance is at 6:45 pm)
