Join professional dancer Jonah Nash for an 8-class program that helps young performers build their dance skills in a fun, supportive environment

Students will learn the fundamentals of jazz technique and Broadway-style choreography while exploring how movement can tell a story. Along the way, Jonah will introduce important moments in musical theatre dance history, including the work of Bob Fosse, Michael Bennett, and Susan Stroman.

Whether your child already loves to dance or wants to feel more confident learning choreography, this class offers room to grow at their own pace. Students will develop musicality, movement, and stage presence while becoming more well-rounded musical theatre performers.

Jonah Nash

Jonah Nash is a professional musical theatre performer, director, and choreographer whose career has taken him across the U.S. and internationally. His credits include the National Tour of Mean Girls (Ensemble/Damian understudy), the First National Tour of The Cher Show, and A Chorus Line in Japan as Richie, along with Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Bodyguard, and the world premiere of CAPRI. His directing and choreography credits include Into the Woods, Moana JR., 101 Dalmatians JR., and Madagascar JR.

At Curtain Up, Jonah brings his professional Broadway touring experience into the classroom, giving young performers the opportunity to learn Broadway-style dance, movement, and storytelling from a working industry professional while building technique, confidence, and stage presence in a fun, supportive environment.
